At the end of 2020, I was appointed Director of Inner Compass Guide, a Community Interest Company set up by Liz Scott and Stu Newberry. Our purpose is inspiring mental health across communities, schools and teams. Since March of last year, we have been developing and delivering on-line programmes to these groups. In these challenging times, we have helped over 200 people see how to tap into their natural inner resource of wellbeing and how listening for wellbeing is the key that unlocks it all.
We have four levels of programme available; introductory, foundation, community, and facilitator. We adapt our delivery to suit the audience context and needs. As a CIC our primary focus is on supporting communities to thrive and to this end, we are developing a community blueprint of wellbeing, which includes businesses, schools, colleges, the voluntary sector, etc. collaborating together.
In normal (non-pandemic) circumstances Liz, Stu and I hold regular ‘open’ retreats throughout the year in Weymouth referred to as Liberate Your Thinking for anyone of adult age and Designed to Thrive – for Young People specifically for those aged between 18 – 30 years.
For those people who have previously attended one of the retreats we also hold regular half day sessions called Staying in the Conversation
As a result of the coronavirus pandemic we have postponed all of our face to face retreats. However, Staying in the Conversation over Zoom, are currently taking place monthly on 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7.30pm.
Please get in touch if you would like to arrange a conversation over Zoom; I would be very happy to have a conversation about creating options to suit your circumstances.
